Our x-ray machine and automatic processor allows us to take and develop your pet’s x-rays and have the results often before your pet awakes. Patients will be admitted in the morning after being starved, they will then be required to have some form of anaesthetic (either sedation or general depending on the procedure) as animals very rarely lie still enough. When owner’s return to collect their pets we will have the x-rays ready so that owners don’t have a long and worrying wait.
Ultrasound referral service
Susan runs our weekly ultrasound clinic, not only available to our clients but also on a referral basis from our neighbouring clinics. Ultrasound is becoming extremely popular as it is none invasive.
Common investigations include heart murmurs, liver disease, abdominal masses, prostatic diesease, abdominal distension, blood in the urine, kidney disease and collapse.
