Vaccinations

Annual vaccinations are vital for both dogs and cats throughout life to prevent life threatening infectious diseases. An initial course of two injections is usually given at approximately 8 and 10 weeks of age. We will send you a reminder when the yearly booster vaccination is due. At this time, your pet will also be given a comprehensive examination so that heart, dental or other problems may be detected as early as possible. Repeat prescriptions

Some pets are on ongoing medications and repeat prescription are available from reception, if ordered 24hours in advance. As most of these are “prescription only medicines” your pet must be given a check up every 3-6months (depending on the condition). These regular check ups are essential and we are then able to detect any potential problems early.

Please remember to give 24 hours notice.

Puppy parties

These are great fun for everyone involved. They are available to puppies between the ages of 12-18wks. We hold these in the evenings and they are spread over a 2 week period. The aim is to promote responsible ownership and to try to ensure that puppies are well socialised from an early age. Places are limited so book early. Click to learn more about puppy care.
