Veterinary Surgeon, Clinical Director

I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 1983 and founded Glenbrae in 1990 after several years in mixed practice. Throughout my career I have been interested in using an integrated approach to health and disease treating all patients as individuals. I am a registered specialist in Homeopathy and also use Acupuncture and Low Level Laser treatment. I also have a keen interest in animal nutrition

I have a number of animals at home including 2 homebred Labradoodles, Kira and Reilly and a young Labrador Rhu. I can be seen in this photo with my Birman cat Frodo who keeps the dogs in their place! I also breed competition horses and have a small herd of Dexter cows.

Practice Manager

I have 20 years experience as a Veterinary Nurse of which I have loved every minute spent nursing patients and helping their owners. 16 of those years were spent with Glenbrae and I have also worked for Glasgow Vet School and for the PDSA. In the autumn of 2016 I decided to hang up my scrubs to pursue my interest in practice management and I am now responsible for the smooth running of all our clinics. Home life is equally as busy with 2 children, husband, guinea pig and a crazy young lurcher called Cooper. At weekends Cooper and I enjoy Cani-Hike and Cani-Fit.

Senior Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from Glasgow Veterinary School in 2002. After graduation I worked for four years in mixed practice before joining Glenbrae in 2006 to become a 100% small animal clinician. I have a keen interest in pain management and anaesthesia and hope to enrol in an advanced certificate in this area in the near future. At home my four children keep me busy and entertained.

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 1999 and have been working with Glenbrae ever since. I have a keen interest in surgery, feline medicine and regenerative medicine. I introduced stem cells to our clinic in early 2015 and have been using it for many joint conditions ever since.
I have one dog, two cats and lots of tropical fish at home. I am married with two young children who keep me very busy.

I moved to Glasgow in 2009 to study Veterinary Medicine and never left. I joined Glenbrae after graduation in 2014 and the team has played a huge role in my development as a vet. I love the variety in my job but I  am especially interested in surgery.  I have always had a love of animals but I am especially fond of cats. I have my own particularly naughty one – Cinders.

I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2015 and joined the Glenbrae team shortly after. Glenbrae is a great place to work as all the team are extremely caring and supportive and will always try to go the extra mile for their patients. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine but I have a keen interest in medicine cases and dentistry. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my dogs and I also enjoy going hiking (when the weather isn’t too awful).

I qualified from Glasgow University Vet School in 2010. I started my career at Glenbrae and after a short time away I have returned to work at our Muirhead branch.
I have a crazy Labrador called Bailey who you may see in the clinic as he often joins me at work. I also have a tortie cat called Moxie who very much lives up to her name!

I have been with the practice since 2010 after completing my BSc (hons) Veterinary Science in Edinburgh Vet School. I then studied Veterinary Surgery at Glasgow Vet School and have been with Glenbrae throughout. I live with my husband, my Great Dane Kalo and cat Leo. In my spare time I enjoy horse riding and going to the gym. I have a keen interest in all species and areas of veterinary medicine and surgery but my main interest is surgery. I work between the Bearsden and Muirhead branches of Glenbrae.

I was born and raised in sunny Southern California and moved to Scotland to study at Glasgow Vet School. I qualified in May 2017 and joined the Glenbrae team in August. I am very interested in chronic pain management and the ‘whole animal’ approach to medicine. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the beautiful Scottish countryside with my two young Samoyed dogs, Simba and Artek, scuba diving, and working with The Trusty Paws Clinic for the homeless as a trustee.

I am Originally from Derbyshire and moved to Scotland in 2010 to study at the Glasgow Vet School. After I graduated in 2015 I worked in Dundee for a couple of years before moving back to Glasgow. I have a diabetic cat named Polly.
You will see me working at the Bearsden and Dumbarton clinics.

I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 2006 and then spent five years working in a mixed practice near Inverness. After this I moved to London to study for a MSc in Veterinary Epidemiology and spent a year working at the Veterinary Medicines Directorate monitoring adverse reactions to veterinary medicines. I moved back home to Scotland just before my wee boy was born and have enjoyed a short career break to be at home with my two young childern. I started working at Glenbrae in November of 2016.

Veterinary Surgeon - Ultrasonographer

I completed a Residency in Diagnostic Imaging at Glasgow vet school in 1995. Since then I have worked in several practices providing an Ultrasound referral service.  I have work at Glenbrae vets Bearsden since 2004 one or two days per week. At home I have 2 dogs ( a black + a chocolate Labrador) and a ginger cat.

Veterinary Surgeon - Oncologist

Clare graduated from the University of Bristol in 1994, and worked for a year in mixed practice, before starting her specialist training in small animal medicine at the University of Edinburgh’s Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. She obtained the RCVS Diploma in Small Animal Medicine in 1999 as well as a Masters in Transfusion medicine. Clare worked as a clinician at the University of Glasgow from 2000 and was awarded a personal Professorship in Small Animal Medicine and Oncology in 2010. She was Clinical Director of the University of Glasgow’s Small Animal Hospital for 6 years and worked within the University’s Oncology service for 11 years before leaving to establish Hawk and Dove. Clare now offers a referral service within our practice for our clients and local practices

Head Veterinary Nurse

I qualified in June 2008 with a BSc(Hons) in Veterinary Nursing. I had trained with Glenbrae throughout my course and I returned in 2010 as Deputy Head Nurse. I enjoy all aspects of Veterinary Nursing but have a keen interest in surgical nursing. My role in 2017 changed and I am now the Head Nurse, which keeps me very busy with our ever expanding vet clinic. I love spending time with my family when I am not at work especially when the weather permits outdoor adventures.

I joined Glenbrae in August 2003 as a trainee and after being trained by our great team and became a registered vet nurse in 2006. I am currently a clinical coach, Training student nurses in the Bearsden clinic to help them reach their qualifications as I did. I have the BSAVA merit award in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. In my spare time I enjoy taking my crazy Border Terrier Oz to the beach and investigating new lands.​

Having been employed as a Personal Assistant for 12 years, I moved to Scotland where I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I have since worked in both charitable and private sector of animal care and am now happy to be a part of the Glenbrae family. I have a passion for feline care, striving to ensure their physical and mental wellbeing whilst in the practice. At home, I live with my crazy rescue cat Toby and my very patient boyfriend, Jamie.

Having previously worked in customer services and marketing, I joined Glenbrae in 2013 as a student veterinary nurse and then joined the veterinary nurse team in 2016 once I qualified. The job is very varied and rewarding and I enjoy all aspects, but particularly enjoy anaesthesia, radiography and caring for critical patients. Life is very busy outside of work finding the time to squeeze in yoga and dog walks as I am currently studying towards gaining my Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care which I am already gaining confidence from and taking pleasure in applying the knowledge gained so far when treating patients at Glenbrae.

I joined the Glenbrae team in January 2017 after studying veterinary nursing at SRUC Oatridge College, and completing placement at Glasgow Small Animal Hospital. You can see me at both the Bearsden and Dumbarton clinics. I have a BSAVA Merit Award in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and have an interest in surgery. In my spare time I love exploring new walks, especially beaches, with my Dalmatian Nevis. I also enjoy creating problem solving actives for my 2 rabbits, Holly and Molly.

I qualified from Edinburgh College in 2015 and joined the Glenbrae team in May 2018. I have a keen interest in Physiotherapy and I have passed the BSAVA merit award in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation. I am also one of the practice’s clinical coaches and enjoy mentoring new students. Out with work I love baking and exploring the countryside with my two dogs Florrie and Toby.

I joined the team in May 2018 and  I am currently studying as a student veterinary nurse at SRUC college working full time in the clinic when I am not at college. You will see me at the Dumbarton and Bearsden clinics.
I live with my lively Dalmation Mille who constantly keeps me on my toes. I love spending time with my family and take long walks in the country with her at the weekends. I also love to play netball where my team and l play in a league against other Glasgow teams.

Office Manager

I started as a part time receptionist at Glenbrae in 1998. I now work as the Office Manager and Book Keeper for the entire business covering our 3 practices in Bearsden, Dumbarton and Muirhead. Glenbrae has become an integral part of my life and I still feel honoured to be part of the business and team. Due to working full time, I currently only have two cats at home called McKenzie and Cody. I normally work in the office most of the day however if you ever need to speak to me regarding accounts, insurance or any other business matters, please don’t hesitate to ask for me at the receptions desk. I am currently studying for a qualification in British Sign Language and should complete my course by May 2019.

I have worked at the clinic from 1998, I am now Senior Client Care Advisor, I have a dog Bentley, a gorgeous boxer and 3 cats. In my spare time I love to walk , go to the gym and socialise with friends. I also do cat sitting for people when they are on holiday. My spare time is spent with my husband and young daughter Lucy.

I joined the Glenbrae team in January 2013 as a Client Care Advisor and I split my time between the Bearsden and Dumbarton practices. For the past 2 years I have been spending some of my time working in the main office assisting Laura Snowdon.
I have a horse called Gally which takes up a lot of my spare time. I also have a Jack Russell Terrier called Evie and enjoy taking her to agility and training class.

I joined the Glenbrae team in 2010. I was initially based only at Dumbarton but now work between our clinics at Bearsden and Dumbarton. When I am not at reception cuddling all the animals I am usually doing all the insurance claims for both of these clinics, and other administration tasks.
I live at home with my husband, my son and our cat, Bolt.​

My name’s Lynsey and I joined the Glenbrae team in June 2017 as a Client Care Advisor at the Muirhead Clinic. I trained as a Veterinary Care Assistant in my last practice and enjoy continuing to learn new skills. I live with my three lovely moggies, Ripley, Alife, and Hudson, as well as my elderly corn snake, Calvin.

I originally joined the Glenbrae team in the summer of 2014 after working within the veterinary industry since I left school, including working at the Glasgow Small Animal Hospital as part of the Out of Hours care team.

During my time at Glenbrae I have gained a Veterinary Care Assistant diploma with distinction and I have become a member of the BVRA and working towards my gold certificate. I can be seen working in all 3 clinics at Glenbrae and enjoy meeting our clients and their pets. I live at home with my 2 sons and 2 Labradors called Buck and Killearn

I moved down from the Highlands in 2018. I love working at Glenbrae and meeting all the different pets and their owners and if i’m not getting cuddles from the animals here I’m cuddling pups at a local kennels I help out at. I enjoy the outdoors and live a busy lifestyle with my boyfreind looking after our two young boys, and we are always on some outdoor adventure with them.
