At Glenbrae we very much believe that this is something that needs much consideration and not only when your pet becomes elderly or ill. This is something which should be thought about when you first become a pet parent. Understandably its not the first thing we should think about, however it is something that is going to happen at some stage of our pet’s life. We can only hope that our pets stay healthy and live to a great old age.

Unfortunately, the reality may be our pets have an accident or a life threatening illness.

Consider your wishes so should this happen you have clear wishes and a plan should this time come. You don’t want to look back with any regrets as it is such a hard time and often we are not thinking straight.

In these circumstances everyone’s wishes are very individual and we aim to help you fulfil these as much as possible. At Glenbrae all of our team have gone through pet bereavement for a range of different reasons. We really do know what you are going through, and would like to help and support you.

Home visits may mean the entire family and other pets can be present. You may want some pictures, hair clippings or paw prints. Everyone gets comfort from different ways and at Glenbrae we will respect this.
