Jessica Ross

I joined the Glenbrae team in October 2022. I graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in June 2021 with a first class BSc (hons) degree and received an award for going above and beyond for animal welfare. 

I am absolutely passionate about animal welfare and have volunteered for animal welfare charities in Scotland and abroad; in South Africa, Sri Lanka and Bali. I also previously worked with the SSPCA as an Animal Rescue Officer! Currently, I volunteer with StreetVet, a charity offering veterinary outreach to homeless people and their pets. Within veterinary, I have worked & gained experience in a variety of areas including charity, first opinion, referral, mixed practice and equine & exotic specialists. My main interests are in anaesthesia, emergency & critical care, and nursing consults.

At home, I’m kept busy with my collie, Nessie! We love hillwalking & flyball. I also enjoy horse riding, helping out on my parent’s croft in the highlands, and travelling when I get the chance! I’m so happy to have joined the team at Glenbrae and can’t wait to get to know you and your pets!
